WINDOW DISPLAYS
Perhaps because of her background in theater and costuming (as well as in worship space crafting), Elizabeth takes great pleasure in creating our window displays. Rarely do the windows actually display products from the store (a fact her mother often expresses concern over). Rik also enjoys the challenges of window stagecraft (especially when it involves creating a cardboard replica of the Firefly cockpit or the intricacies of a Death Star window frame).
Though we try to get in as many yarn and fiber animal related details into the windows, it is more important to us that our windows bring people joy, make them pause in their day for a chuckle, and sometimes even make a stronger statement of radical hospitality or justice. We definitely try to make our windows reflective of the personality of our store: nerdy and welcoming. We hope you enjoy!
