SHOP

Starting in 2014, we led a yarnbombing on Wall Street twice a year: coinciding with SAFF and leaf season in the fall (and covering the Flat Iron sculpture) and coinciding with Yarn Crawl in the spring. We always tried to recruit lots of helpers.

In 2017 we were invited to install a yarnbombing at Asheville Art Museum’s temporary home while the main building was under renovation.

We used our yarnbombing to raise money a couple of times for BeLoved by auctioning of “Gnomes for Homes” and flying pigs.

Fall of 2019 was our last yarnbombing while the shop was downtown, but in 2024 we were invited back to do a post-Helene yarnbombing to draw attention to the popup shops on Wall Street hosting displaced businesses from Biltmore Village.
