The Craft Underground is an inclusive space where makers of all backgrounds and skill levels gather to learn, create, and connect. Through fiber arts, crafting, and shared practice, we weave together a community grounded in collaboration, mutual support, and the radical belief that making things by hand is an act of joy and resistance.
The space is behind and underneath Purl’s Yarn Emporium at 830 Hendersonville Road, Asheville, NC 28803.
To enter, you’ll need to walk around the south side of the building to the rear entrance (at least until we get our lift installed).
Join us for a drop-in anytime event to see what The Craft Underground is all about. Sunday, November 8, from 1 to 8 pm. We’ll have snacks and hospitality all day long!
Currently our Sunday evening and Wednesday evening stitch groups are meeting in The Craft Underground. Our dye studio is currently up and running down there too!
